After Hair Rebonding Care

Featured Replies

Is it okay I go do hair rebonding before I go to the see? I'll be swimming in both the ocean and a swimming pool. Would it make my hair frizzy or not stay straight? Should O do hair reboding after all of those?

From what I understand and believe me I am no expert :o , you aren't allowed to touch your hair for two or three days except to comb it straight. A friend had it done and developed little wings over her ears where she kept tucking it behind - force of habit. I would leave it until you come back from wherever you are going. if you want the sleek look for photographs etc. a wash and blow dry is very affordable here :D

So as long as I leave my hair untouched from water & hair cream for 3 days, it should be okay right? I wanted to be able to take photos with my good hair style. That's why I want to do hair rebonding before my trip to the sea.

:o I don't want to be your hair advisor and something goes wrong. Go to a salon and ask what they recommend. Imagine if you had paid 7000 baht for a treatment and buggered it up by going swimming etc. :D As I said, blow drying is extremely cheap so maybe go for that option while on holiday? :D

According to my stylish, things to take note after rebonding;

1) First 3 days dont touch water (no washing of hair).

2) No tying of hair for the first 1 week.

3) Advisable to do treatment thereafter but when to do it depend very much on the brand ranging from the 3rd day to a month later. The brand used by my stylist Alfaparf allow me to do anything after the 3rd day.

4) Should you really need to go swimming or beach, still got to be 3 days later, you should apply a layer of conditioner or treatment cream before putting on your swimming cap to protect your hair.

I do agree that dying is extremely cheap but something too much dying will demage our hair and the time spend in & out of salon can be a hassle. Rebonding can be not as costly as there are some salons charging a very attractive price yet they can still deliver very high quality. I did mine for around 2000 bahts (cost of few dying) and mind you never had my 7000 bahts come close to this salon standard. So at time we can still get value if we know.

Need more info. better visit your stylish or I strongly recommend Chetta Lifestyle Salon @ 155/108 Udom Suk 47 (Sukhumvit Soi 103), Bangkok. Tel: 02-3982994, 08-59348427
