New CP products at The Mall Korat

Hello All, I braved the water war to cross town to get some milk and bread at

The Mall Korat, while picking up the milk and checking the chilling cases, I found

2 new items from CP. One is Lard and the other is Hygienic Pork Fat julian strips.

"Hygienic pork fat" sounds unpleasant (do they do a cheaper unhygienic version?) but the lard could be nice for pork pie pastry.

How much was it?

My wife buys either pork fat or belly pork from the market and renders it down into lard.

It tastes OK on toast too plus it is cheaper than CP stuff.

The lard is also available in Tesco/Lotus. I bought some yesterday, reduced down to 25b from around 70b. Now I've just got to find a use for it apart from roasting spuds.
