Muay Thai In Bangkok - Need Some Info

Hi

I'm stopping in Bangkok for a day and I would like to go and check out Muay Thai boxing at Lumpini Stadium. Is it worth checking out? How long does the matches last on a Friday night? Can you buy tickets at the stadium or do you have to buy in advance?

thai boxing on Lumpini is only on tuesday, friday at 18:30 and saturday 17:00 and 18:30. On saturday there will be better boxers than weekdays.

Saturday is actually the weaker show with the tuesday and friday shows having the top talent. The show starts at 1830n and usually will have about 10 fights on the card each 30 min long unless there is a knockout. Main event is the 7th fight and fights after main usually have younger up and comers on. If no Knockouts main event should finish around 10 pm. Post the date you were looking to go and I can see if the fights are any good that night
