On top of that he succeeded in absolving himself and his partners in crime. The only mandate he has are a few guns... CantSpell
Yingluck a few years back: "They stole my democracy" Prayut today: "Don't break my law" ..... Same same but different ain't it? To both we could just answer: "what freaking democracy/law???" Could be the one they dreamed about... Is everybody in power totally delusional in this country? skildpadden
Basically any political movements who dares to utter a word on the referendum will face a jail time of 10 years. You can like or dislike Watana but taking away the right to inform the public why the should or shouldn't vote for the referendum is not bringing reconciliation but stifle any opposition. phoenixdoglover
"The Prime Minister said every political group will be monitored from now on, adding that they would be prosecuted indiscriminately for breaking the rules." indiscriminately ˌɪndɪˈskrɪmɪnətli/ adverb in a random manner; unsystematically. "his armies slaughtered men, women, and children indiscriminately" synonyms: randomly, at random, unsystematically, aimlessly, unmethodically, without method, haphazardly, blindly, uncritically, undiscriminatingly, non-selectively, injudiciously; More in a way that does not show care or judgement. Wilsonandson
The Prime Minister said every political group will be monitored from now on.And you Prime Minister, will you and your cronies be monitored to?A transparent government is what you promised isn't it? Another question. If everyone is happy with you and your government, why all the rules and threats of detention or prison for speaking against the government? If your unhappy with the current government or their policies, where can you express your views without being arrested? The "It's my way or the highway" style of governance is getting us nowhere. IMO, Yes I'm not Thai, just interested in debating about the current political news events in Thailand with other English speaking members who also enjoy similar pursuits.
