JERUSALEM: -- Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have shot dead two Palestinians at the Qalandia checkpoint between Jerusalem and the West Bank.

Police said the 16-year-old boy and his sister approached officers who ordered them to stop. The female allegedly waved a knife at one of the officers.

“They started to fire at them and tell them to go back,” said eyewitness Alaa Sobouh. “The woman [looked] pregnant. They shot her first and then as the man moved backwards, they fired at him. They shot them with more than seven bullets.”

Police say they found two knives on the boy’s body.

After the incident Israeli forces fired tear gas at media crews.

Scuffles outside Al-Aqsa mosque
Separately, scuffles broke out between Palestinians and Israeli security at the al-Aqsa mosque compound after Jewish visitors apparently tried to pray there, in violation of current visitor rules.

Israeli police officers were seen escorting two Jewish visitors outside.

Israeli security forces have been deployed by the thousands across Israel and in Jerusalem during the week-long holiday of Passover.

The extra judicial execution took place in the illegally occupied West Bank, when a pregnant Palestinian and her brother in their own land had to approach a checkpoint manned by foreign Israeli psychopathic thugs.

I would suggest it was the fully armed cowardly Israeli soldiers who were the ones who had no business there as an occupying force telling Palestinians where and where not they can go, then murdering them when they can't understand instructions to stop in Hebrew..the language of the invader.

both found to have 3 knives in their belonging, one was thrown at the soldiers, both have ignored

If the cowardly IDF fears for his life, so he should..he's an invader. If he wants to feel safe, get back to your own side of the internationally accepted de facto border.

If the IDF insists on being an army of illegal occupation, I would suggest their superiors train them in the same techniques as other police and armed forces around the world...tasers, pepper spray, rubber bullets. Live ammunition should be a last resort, not a first one.
