I'm trying to get a 10" or 12" ceramic cooking pot with a lid than can go in an oven. I bought one in CM years ago. The big ceramic shop on the Hang Dong road across from the airport doesn't have one.

I can go to Lampang and look around but I thought I'd ask if anyone knows a local shop that might have one.

There's a reasonable range of ceramic bowls (blue design) with lids at Warawot Markets, inside the main building. I don't know if they have bigger sizes, but I bought a few small and medium and have used them in my microwave for the past 4 years.

The shop selling these is not so easy to find, but once inside, ask, or do what I did, and had a Thai speaker write the Thai for 'ceramic' on a scrap of paper, and no problems.

I agree that Lampang would also be a good place to try.
