Why leave the report so late when it can be done up to 15 days ahead of the due date?.

It is unlikely that a fine will be levied in the situation described but remember day 1 of the 7 is the day the report is due, reporting on day 8 may attract a fine.

Saturdays an Sundays are included in the count so expect a fine for late reporting.

I think a big reason for the 7-day grace period is so that people are not caught out when their reporting date is on a holiday. The intent is not to routinely encourage people to be late. Expect to be fined. The whole 90-day reporting thing is a pointless nuisance, but its administration is pretty fair. The rules around TM-30 and TM-28 reporting are a lot worse.

No, they would be fined for reporting late.

I doubt any office has a policy allowing a grace period on top of the grace period. The report must be made within 7 days, therefore, you only have 6 extra days to report.

LoL - my 90 day is due on the 8th (Sunday). Knowing that I had planned on going on the 5th (Thursday) thinking to avoid the "day before the weekend" rush. Unfortunately, the only calendar I have with Thai holidays only had a wee little circle and small notation at the bottom mentioning Mother's Day. Got to the office and of course it was closed. Went back the next day only to find that now it is closed until Tuesday (the 10th) and the Online Reporting website isn't functioning.

Theoretically, if you can time your 90 day reports well, you should be within days of having to renew your Extension before needing a 4th 90 day report. For example, if you renewed your Extension on 1 June and were able to do your 90s exactly on the day they were due, your last "90 days" would expire 6 days before your Extension is due again (5 days in years without a Leap Day).

However, when you go early, they make your next reporting date 90 days from the day you report, so if you do go early each time you're likely to end up having to do that 4th report, possible within a couple weeks of your extension. In my case I was early for each one this year and as a result I have to do the 4th report as it is due 22 days before my extension. It's no big deal for me as I usually take a book, go early and am out of there within minutes of them opening for business.

Each year when I do my Extension I do the 90 day report as well. Then I look at the calendar and calculate when my 90 day reports will be due and mark them on the calendar (and have a sticky note with the dates just above my monitor as another reminder). If the date falls on a weekend (or even a Friday/Monday) I will usually back it up to the preceding Thursday or Wednesday. I suppose I could gamble and set dates that are a couple days after the due date but I prefer going early so that if something unexpected happens I don't get caught out.

Like when Immigration is unexpectedly closed for a 5 day holiday.

You have all of next week to do your report if it is due tomorrow. Your last day would be the 14th.

Even if online 90 day reporting was working you are to late to do it. There is a 15 to 7 days before your report date to do them.

I've seen a guy being fined 500B for being late for the report by only 1 day when I went to the

immigration office to do my 90-day report on Monday. His last day was Sunday, a day before

that.

Your info is incorrect.

No need to shout turn off the caps lock.

Both online and mail in reporting have the same window of 15 to 7 days before the report date.

NNNNOOOOOOOO. The 7 days after is a grace period. In all it`s 15 days before and 7 days after that means you have a stretch of 22 days to file the report.

When the website is working you can even do your 90 day reporting on the weekend. I found out when the website was down on a Friday, tried Saturday and did my reporting and got the email confirmation on the following Monday.

All my forms were filled in for my Marriage Visa and taken to Imm. on 4th March . I was told to come in to pickup on 6th May , no earlier ,no later. Being a holiday we went on Weds. 4th, No problem at all , all sorted in 10 mins , even quicker then a 90 day report. Why folk bleat about being late for this or that I cannot understand . Fine them , export them ..ok that is a bit harsh maybe.

Like when Immigration is unexpectedly closed for a 5 day holiday.

If you travel out of the country there's no point trying to sync report dates and extensions because the 90 day period is reset when you exit and then re-enter with a re-entry permit.

When I wanted to make the 90 days report by internet, I discovered, there are a time limit to start the process. To early, to late is not accepted by office.

"90 day reports can be made in person"

Do you understand what "in person" means? It doesn't mean on the Internet.

And your Cap Lock key seems to be stuck.
