PHUKET: Provincial police have announced making a handful of meth arrests and seizures over the past few days, noting the value of drugs seized to be worth more than B5 million.

Under the direction of Phuket Provincial Police Commander, Pol Maj Gen Theeraphon Thipcharoen, Phuket Police held a press conference today to reveal details of the arrests.
At 6pm on May 4 Phuket drug suppression officers arrested Mr Rachai “Un” Kuadcheua, 33, at a well-known apartment on Soi Nopakhun, off Mae Luean Rd in Phuket City’s Talad Yai sub district.
Caught in possession of 13 meth pills (ya bah), Un was chargedwith possession of a Category 1 drug without permit.
Then at 1.30am on May 5, Thalang drug suppression officers raided an apartment block in in the Thepkrasatrri sub district, where they arrested Mr Charin “Pu” Rattasit, 34, and Mr Mongkol “Kik” Chetapun, 23.
Pu was found to be in possession of 8 grams of crystal meth, and subsequently charged with possession of a Category 1 drug (ya ice) with intent to sell.
