I want to buy stock in a British company. I'm having great difficulty finding a stockbroker who will do this.

This one looks promising - does anyone have any experience of it. Alternatively, can anyone advise of a good stockbroker avalable to a Thailand resident.

What company? If its large, there is likely an ADR which trades in New York. If so, most brokers here can assist you.

The site you linked allows you to gamble on price movements using CFDs. This doesn't make you a shareholder.. you have no ownership or right to dividends or to vote.

I assume this would be deemed the same as playing poker in a legal sense in Thailand.
