Hello. I come from Trentino, Italy. I just moved to Bangkok 2 months ago and going to open my small Italian traditional style pizzeria. Currently I'm looking for a supplier in Thailand with good quality Fior Di Latte to use them on my Neapolitan style pizzas smile.png Any one tried fresh mozzarella from Hua Hin? Are they good, compare to imported Italian cheese? About the price I have checked and they offer a very good price for this style of cheese smile.png All what I am wondering is how is their quality.

Order some and try it. That's the only way you'll know if you'll be satisfied.

Incidentally, have you wondered who might be interested in frequenting a "small, Italian traditional style pizzeria"? Not Thai people, that's for sure. They prefer their thick crusted pizzas, preferably with foul sausage and fake cheese in the margins with a disgustingly sweet sauce. And not Americans who prefer equally gross pizzas, often with pineapple on them.

This really isn't a country where a Margherita is going to pass muster.

The Thai-style pizza squares sold in the bakery sections of Tesco and BigC are indeed absolutely disgusting with sweet dough and mayonnaise.

But Pizza Pizza (popular with Thais) does a perfectly good Margherita that is thin and not at all sweet. Quite a few other places in Pattaya also do pizzas that could pass muster in Italy (even if they also do American style ones). The big hotels certainly know how to make an Italian pizza, and very nice they are too.

OP I think you should really consider your position...two months in Thailand and you can't even sort out your cheese supplier easily for your pizzas.

Its unlikely to work I think...I'd be thinking about some other venture to be honest.

Just my opinion...I've seen plenty of Italian restaurants fail here over the years...those that succeed know their stuff a lot better these days.
