Go to a university that teaches skills that are relevant to what you need and put up a few flyers.

Don't underestimate Facebook, line timeline, even classifieds etc

You can post the ad free in the same detail of of English you require of your employee and only those who can read and understand the requirements and Instructions will help you sort the wheat from the chafe....

If you need someone ASAP, and the money is good (by Thai standards) I would post that too but if money is tight I would just write salary negotiable..... And then haggle a deal that's based upon performance etc

I've had good results from http://bangkok.craigslist.co.th/

I would suggest the business / mgmt category perhaps - http://bangkok.craigslist.co.th/search/bus

you can list in multiple categories.

Best of luck.

Pm me for the name of a company that will help you

Better yet ask for the school's Career Services or Alumni Relations offices and make it a legitimate job opportunity and get more school-backed options.

edited: You may even be able to give part-time opportunities as an intern for several students and check them out before hiring.

Do you know for a fact that Thai universities have these services?

I would imagine all Thai universities have some form of assistance for helping students get jobs. I know for a fact that the UN has worked in conjunction with several Thai universities for career opportunities for their graduates.

I agree that I would also expect them to have those services.

I guess I should just contact some of the Universities and see what they can do to help.

Well, you do get points for posting a free advertisement.

I can offer the same advice I would give anyone, anywhere .. hiring anybody.

Know what you are hiring for and how much you will pay.

One might think at this point you would know if this is a part time or full time job ... sort of matters a bit to applicants.

Yes, I do know you may not want to post the salary ... but trust me ... in a skilled office job ... you will get what you pay for.

Let's face it ... you are looking for a person to run daily operations, and I am guessing like most .. you will low ball this and suffer frustration as the revolving door swings around ... instead of paying a salary sure to retain a quality person ... but God Forbid ... anyone pay a Thai a fair wage.

pay a good wage to get quality worker who are less likely to leave....

Ah, but the catch; how do you determine quality worker?

My company we give each interviewee a small test on logic and arithmetic. Based on experience, people who do well on test are pretty sharp, hard working or not - that is another thing. Definitely helpful especially if you are hiring a managerial role.
