Hal65 Posted May 15, 2016 Posted May 15, 2016 Do these work well as omelettes? Does anyone eat them straight from the tube?
Oxx Posted May 16, 2016 Posted May 16, 2016 They're normally sliced and put in bland soup (kaeng chuet).
jobin Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 NO. Not so. Most commonly used as thus: pour 1 cup oats into bowl. Clip top of tofu tubes and squirt all of tofu tube into the bowl of oats. Next, add liquid of choice, cold or hot, much or little. Add good pinch of curry powder and dollop of soy sauce. Swirl with spoon 3x, wait 2 mins and enjoy massive health benefits, super healthy protein, low fat/cholesterol, and a delicious, nutty and natural, mildly Auruvedic meal. It it all and grow strong.
Oxx Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 low fat/cholesterol Not exactly with all that egg yolk in it.
tutsiwarrior Posted May 28, 2016 Posted May 28, 2016 They're normally sliced and put in bland soup (kaeng chuet). and this is a tasty soup, with clear noodles and cabbage... I thought to try the preparation with the firm, fresh tofu you buy at the market...
