BANGKOK, 17 May 2016 (NNT) - The government and the National Council for Peace and Order (NCPO) will report their achievements over the past two years to the public.

Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha, in his capacity as NCPO chief, clai
med that Thais are already familiar with these achievements. They will be reiterated on May 22 to remind the public about the government’s ongoing efforts.

Meanwhile, the government has instructed relevant agencies to dredge canals to increase their capacity ahead of the rainy season, to relieve the drought crisis.

As for the Civil State policy, which emphasizes collaboration between all sectors in terms of public administration, the Prime Minister affirmed that the private sector has never offered any gifts to the government when asked to comply.

Avoid the rush. Get their early folks.

Will they form a circle so they can all pat each other on the back ?

Will they form a circle so they can all pat each other on the back ?

I was thinking something far cruder than patting each other on the back...

Must have been keeping them secret up to this point... wai2.gifwai.gif

Wouldn't it be cheaper to produce a 7 seconds TV commercial instead?

anyone got a live stream?

might have a day off work to watch it, it would be non stop brilliance

ok, it is a joke of course.

Again?

Prayut has only done to the country what the rest of us do to someones daughter each night. Well it used to be each night, maybe a few times a year now.

I feel a diy attitude adjustment coming on - again!

"Meanwhile, the government has instructed relevant agencies to dredge canals to increase their capacity ahead of the rainy season, to relieve the drought crisis."

In the past few weeks, there has been an increasing number of these sorts of announcements, dutifully reported by NNT, and ostensibly from the PM. Things like:

1. All farmers are advised to take into account the weather when they plant their crops this year.

2. School administrators are directed to get schools ready for the new school year

and today's special item

3. Canals shall be dredged to increase their capacity to hold water

I am imagining the next step, to reinforce the role of the wise leader, as something like this:
