Taksin is the name of one of the Kings of Thailand. he was in fact the only king that reigned while the capital of thailand was (very breifly) situated in Thonburi (the other side of chaophraya) thai history I ohhh by the way thaksin ...which means south...is yes similar to the ex PM name. but as said above...not same as Taksin Edited November 8, 200619 yr by MiG16
