Throw his Father and Mother in jail and see what family loyalty will do then.

When he comes to face the music then release them.

Hear Hear...I concur.

We complain about the ability of the police and the authorities to do as they please with impunity.

That being the case then it would be satisfying to see the police and or various persons of authority do exactly what you suggest and force the responsibility on the Man and also make the family responsible.

If done in questionable ways ...then so be it ..as the ways and means will be ignored by all.....this being a special case.

It is painfully obvious the family knows where the little twerp is and they are aiding and abetting a criminal.

Cheers

These delaying tactics are part and parcel of Thai defense legal maneuvering for the elite

All you have to do is remember when Chalerm Yubamrung's son shot and killed a Thai policeman in 2002

Duang Yubamrung, deserted from the Army and fled to Malaysia and returned a year later to stand trial and by that time the dozen or so witnesses who observed the shooting in a Bangkok nightclub suddenly could no longer remember what they saw and what they told the police during the investigation. So he was acquitted, reinstated into the Army, promoted to Captain, and is now......wait for this.....is in charge of firearms training at the Royal Thai Police Academy

You are just seeing it happen again with the Red Bull heir, delay long enough and the witnesses will either forget or die, or the evidence will disappear before there is a trial. The only surprising thing is that this little POS has not gone into the monkhood; yet

The police know exactly where he is, they will have negotiating with him and his lawyers for a long period.

We are simply witnesing a stage managed Thai Farce. More time delaying, more cash exchanged, but the result stays the same.

The cop killing BOSS remains a free amn if sliglty worse off in his wallet.

As people have surgested, just dont buy Red Bull products and tell as many people you can about this case. The on;y way to hurt this bastard is, in his and familys wallet.

Another fine example of all powerful Mr Section 44 Generalissimo Prayuth not putting an end to corruption.

Tell me, why did we need to have this coup?

Really?

Then why didn't the PM at the time do something about this and also about corruption which IRC was one of her many election promises?

You are one of the people who protest about the powers that the PM has, including Section 44, but here it seems as though you want him to do something with Section 44.

Well he did come in on an anti-corruption ticket.

I agree with you 100% but then again Yingluck did the same thing along with many others of various shades of red, yellow and green, and, just like traffic lights in Thailand they change regularly and are ignored by so many people.

Who really gives a rat's ass? Seriously who could really care about this "Thai" related case??? Shit happens here and it is a "local" problem not a farang issue.

Some think they can change it and have a sense of entitlement even though they don't learn the language, can't be arsed to get citizenship and basically are living a lie, thinking they are back in Kansas. They get large resentments against Thais with power as they don't have any themselves.

Learning the language is hard for some people especially the audibly impaired (read deaf old buggers like me), and it is impossible to get citizenship in Thailand unless you are employed here and pay taxes for quite a few years and then fulfil many other rules and regulations.

Targeting relatively-innocent parties such as Mum & Dad is despicable in most civilized countries, so leave them out of it.

Besides, from the perp's lack of morals, I don't think that he would give a toss about his parents anyway,

Innocent? They brought the little turd up to be what he is.

The authorities have already played that card (going after relatives) with Ja New's mum. So I can only guess that its money / status that's stopping a little dabbling here. Shame really

You would think that Thais who are crushed under corruption and have little choice in the life they are assigned would riot in the street...

The Thai Army are there to protect the rich and privileged in Thai society, if that includes shooting their fellow Thai's then that's what they will do, as long as the poor are kept in line and are afraid of The police and Army, they are doing their jobs correct and the heads of these organizations will enjoy the massive opportunities to continue the never ending circle of corruption, with nobody to answer to, cos the only people with the power to clip the wings of all these Generals won't do a thing, cos they need their protection from the poor masses.

Army and Police Generals can amass millions of USD's under this system, it suits them, it suits their rich and privileged masters. it doesn't suit the poor, but whoever cared about the poor anyway, they are expendable and the Thai education system is churning out thousands of poorly educated, brainwashed kids each year to continue the cycle.

Sure this guy should be made accountable for his actions, just like anybody else would be.

But there is a good chance he is haunted by the death he caused and may well be sick, both mentally and physically by what he has done, and may well be for the rest of his life..

To know you are responsible for a persons death is a hard thing to live with, and unless he is a hardened criminal or serial killer, that is quite likely the case here. After all it was a road accident, sure with speed and drugs ? playing a big part,

but that happens every day here. It was not a case of putting a gun to a persons head and pulling the trigger.

And most parents would do what they could to keep their children from 20 years in jail.

Sure he is spoiled rotten, and very rich parents, but that is his fortunate or unfortunate roll in life...

Just a unrelated point, about 22 war Vets commit suicide every day in America, haunted by what they have been through with war and killing other people, and they are trained solders .... not spoiled kids.

Thailand shows its true colours.

Despicable and corrupt to the core.

Winnie

And the general Thai community still think they are 'better' than all farang, their behaviour is generally indicative of a poorly educated ignorant race. Thainess justifies everything that could be deemed as unsatisfactory to the rest of the world, superiority outbursts is incestuous as is corruption. All this breeds is mediocrity and is extremely expensive to all that participate (lower runged position) in the apex budgetary system. Why were the Shinawatra's such a threat; when (Junta) PM assets monetary worth recovered 2013 and funds ($25M) moved off shore in 2015? Timing strange for the 2014 coup?? When the effects rolled down - get the cash out? When those 'in charge' behave so deplorably, is it any wonder this behaviour is accepted as normal? They think the Chinese actually care! Great show coming to you soon.

Quite, I'm sure the boy and indeed his family are suffering.

The boy probably has a drug problem, which could happen to any of our children.

If any parent would turn their own son into the police and recommend jail if they had the means to avoid it please raise your hands now. If not, let it go.

Those with drug problems should be shown the same amount of compassion as those with physical diseases, such as HIV or cancer.

Hmmm. Seems to me that the majority of drug problems are self-inflicted. I know HIV is sometimes self-inflicted is but is cancer self-inflicted? I didn't think it was but I might be wrong, that's happened before.

If I wanted to be all compassionate and stuff, I think I'd give money to orphans or something - that's not self-inflicted unless the kid killed the parents, which they usually didn't.

I wouldn't give the time of day to alcoholics either.

99.9% of those people with with drug problems brought it on themselves - after all nobody forced them to stick a needle in their arm, or forced the stuff up their nose! Same with HIV - in this enlightened age anybody who doesn't use a condom when having sex with a relative stranger - well, in most cases, som nom na (? spelling) in my opinion. Cancer is a scourge that can afflict anybody, and is not of their own making, unless you are a smoker, in which case the previous comment applies.

And getting back on topic, I wonder what the above apologists would be saying if it was their son or husband that was dead due to this little spoilt out of control brat's actions? I don't think they'd be saying "Oh, he probably had a drug problem - that explains it!"
