House Registration (yellow book)

Featured Replies

I am renting a house in Bangsaray, and I wish to apply for a yellow book. My gf rang amphor sattahip. Besides wanting pics, and some other paper work which I can relate to they say they want my front page of passport to be translated to Thai. I know idea why. Isn't a thai passport printed in eng.

Anyone with suggestions, please.

Thanks

Your name in the yellow book will be written in Thai, not English. That is why they want an official, certified translation.

Make sure that when translation is made, you are present to tell the translator about the pronounciation of your name, so they can make a "correct" translation. Tonality is important.

You will also need your parents names translated to Thai

Correct. In my case, it was just first names and was done directly onsite at the Nongprue municipality office
