There are ways to oust a military regime. The sad fact though is it always ends in mass bloodshed and loss of innocent civilian lives. The best to hope for would be a counter coup, a split in the army along the lines of the Yeltsin, Gorbachev counter coup back in the 1980's.

This is Thailand 2016, its reds v yellow, if there was a split in this government it'd leave things wide open for the reds, hence it isn't going to happen.

Asa visitor to Thailand i'd say it was far more fun, free and prosperous under Thaksin.
