Australia storm leaves three dead and homes in danger

(BBC) Three people are confirmed dead after massive storms flooded rivers, uprooted trees and tore into beaches along Australia's east coast.

Rain and wind continue to batter southern New South Wales, Victoria and Tasmania.

Erosion at Sydney's Collaroy Beach has forced the evacuation of multi-million dollar homes, which are now in danger of collapsing.

Had a tree fall down on my roof in my house in Manly years ago and the insurance wouldn't pay up because they said I wasn't covered for water damage.

Went to court and seems I WAS covered for water damage but took almost a year and had to fork out 10k to fix the roof. Storms are definitely getting worse.
