Dhammakaya’s followers ask police to take action against Phra Payorm

BANGKOK: -- Followers of Wat Dhammakaya today (Monday) lodged a complaint with Pathum Thani’s Klong Luang district police against Phra Payorm Kalayano, the abbot of Wat Wat Suan Kaew, over the monk’s alleged distortion of facts that causes damages to Phra Dhammachayo.

PM will not oppose UDD’s anti-graft centre but insists it is not legally recognized

UDD demands charter court to rule on the constitutionality of Section 61 of referendum law

PM calls for decisive solution to police reshuffling errors

BANGKOK, 7 June 2016 (NNT) - Prime Minister Gen Prayut Chan-o-cha has said that the Commissioner-General of the Royal Thai Police must correct the errors in this year’s officer reassignment list, and that he will intervene if the problem remains unresolved.

Eight heads of cattle killed by a lightning strike in a rice field

KORAT: -- A herd of cattle were killed by a lightning strike in the middle of a dry rice field in Bua Yai district of Nakhon Ratchasima on Sunday. Eight heads of cattle were found lying dead under a tamarind tree in the rice field.

Thailand Mulling Purchase of Japanese Sub-Hunting Aircraft
