NLA reviews draft bill on forensic science services

BANGKOK, 9 June 2016 (NNT) – The National Legislative Assembly (NLA) has deliberated on a proposed forensic science bill designed to enhance the efficiency of the nation’s forensic science services.

At its meeting today, the NLA discussed a draft bill on forensic science services that recently passed review by a special committee. The content of the bill focuses on enhancing the efficiency of forensic science services in the nation among both state offices and private organizations, noting the importance of such services in the justice process. The bill comprises 18 articles that seek to make forensic science services more standardized in the Kingdom.

The assembly also took time to review legislation to do with the ASEAN+3 Emergency Rice Reserve and land traffic, both of which were reviewed by special committees.

We'll be able to see how serious they are about this. See if Pornthip still has a job at years-end. If so, then it's just another 'we're working hard for the Thai people' exercise.

What it really is all about is they've messed up an international double murder in koh Tao with their forensics if any and to save face make it look like somethings going to get sorted in the year ????
