RV renewal docs

Featured Replies

Sorry for another (probably) often asked question~

Does anyone have an up-to-date list of docs required to extend a 'retirement visa' by another year?
This will be my first renewal and processed at Jomtien Immigration.

Many thanks in advance!

A visa cannot be extended. You can apply for a new extension of stay based upon retirement.

You will need a letter from the bank and copies of your bank book showing 800k baht in the bank for 3 months or a income letter to prove 65k baht income or a combination of the 2 totaling 800k baht.

Copies of you passport photo page and and every page of your passport that has a visa or entry for Thailand. Copy of your TM6 departure card.

A completed TM7 application form with a 4 X 6 cm photo attached.

If you have moved since your last application you will need proof of residence.

Sorry, I meant an 'extension of stay based on retirement'.
I haven't moved in the last year so you don't think I need to prove the address they already have on file?
Thank you very much for the informed advice with is much appreciated!!!

Reports for Jomtien indicate proof of residence is not needed if you are using the same address.
