Close to 2000 Baht a kilo for some sliced beef stuff?

I'll turn vegan first.

Of course, that's just the "amazing", "limited quantity" price for this Thai beef, which (according to the seller at least...) normally goes for nearly 3,000 baht per kilo!

Maybe, if we start thinking of our backyard grills as "Yakinukus", this will all begin to make some sort of sense?

Very difficult for me to get to the bank, as it has about 20 steps outside.

My wheelchair cannot climb, so sorry i will not be buying any.

As i am unable to secure a bank loan.

Then again, there was a Thai person posting in some Facebook foodie group with Japanese wagyu beef for sale.

Someone asked how much it cost.

He needed CPR after that.

I remember some time back at Rimping seeing a large piece. Price tag showed 47,000+ Baht!

Although Thai Wagyu is produced in Thailand, it is not the same as local "Thai beef" which generally doesn't have a good name (though if you know where to buy you can get some good quality beef. Our 30 day premium dry aged beef is local for example but the taste and texture is fantastic).

The reason that you can never buy Thai Wagyu anywhere (other than at Passion Delivery) is because the whole quota is normally exported directly to Japan, such is the demand for it. I think it is fair to say the Japanese know if Wagyu is any good so this gives you an idea about the quality of Thai Wagyu produced here. It is available exclusively at Passion Delivery.

Wagyu is very popular in Thailand and we are offering it at a pretty incredible price. For some this will be a bargain, for others it will be expensive. Everyone is different. If you fall into the latter category then why not give our Australian beef a try. It is both superb quality and steaks start from just 295 baht (270g rump steak). Details here if interested (scroll down to the 2nd and 3rd rows). http://www.passiondelivery.com/collections/new-products.
