He admitted that it was difficult to covey contents of the 279 articles, written in the new constitution, to the general public.

He has said the new constitution dictates that the government must be required to disclose information to the general public, while providing public services. He assured that an anti-corruption mechanism exists in the draft constitution along with a compulsory ethical evaluation of officials from independent agencies and the right to impeach any official proven to be involved with misconduct.

The new constitution will also provide 14 years of free education to the general public, emphasizing on quality and discipline of new graduates. Other contents include a call to reform the justice system, including the police, and to constantly monitor all laws and amend them up to keep Thailand's laws relevant and up to date.

I can't wait to see and hear how these guys react to the inevitable defeat of this lousy document.

Yes, the good general came out today telling opposing parties not to monitor the referendum.

Abhisit may need to say something, as seems to be the only one who can speak out against the junta's quashing of freedoms. The world will remember if he does nothing.

Does anybody see Freedom of Speech, Assembly or Press anywhere? Not consistent with what I see!
