I fit and tough looking guy like that, it is VERY hard to believe that he died from just falling over, no matter how drunk he might be.

I hope they send this poor guy back home for a proper autopsy.

My money is on there being much more to this story than we know at this point.

You don't tell people that if anything happens to you it will be your ex, then soon after turn up dead without there being a good chance of fowl play.

Will be interesting to see how this story develops. I for one will be watching for it.

According to the newspaper report, it indicated that a source stated that the room was above Sweethearts. Now, I don't know if that is a bar or not but given the area where it's located (see picture) I'd say it was. Just saw another photo, it is a hotel/bar.

So it took a month to work out that the muscular bald foreigner that's been missing in Pattaya since May 14th, is the same muscular bald foreigner that they took to the morgue in Pattaya on May 15th?

It must have come as quite a shock to the BIB to find out that these 2 were connected . Who'd have thought it?

2 Why didn't the police at least circulate pictures of the dead man's distinctive tattoo to the mass media?

The Sweethearts bar is NOT a go-go bar, and it is not on Walking Street, at least not the Sweethearts bar shown in the photo, which is on Soi Buakhao ! And what about the "large american" who is said to have knocked out the victim on the day he disappeared ? He should be located and interrogated, as a possible accessory to murder. This whole thing stinks, and my guess would be that the ex-wife would be the mainly responsible party. R.I.P.

yes ok.....but when he went missing on the 14th(last seen) i don't think he was actually reported missing until around 2 weeks later....

But yes.....he has remained in the morgue with nobody putting 2 and 2 together......police/ambulance men/doctors/nurses/pathologist

Actually...doing the math it's around 3 weeks that nobody worked it out............amazing really.......35 yr old bald,muscular guy brought from pattaya!

yes.....a blood clot or something of that nature that was a ticking time bomb......alcohol wouldn't of helped things.....

Why couldn't the Thai police manage to match up missing person reports to dead bodies found?
There can't be that many white males found dead in Pattaya every night.
Person missing on 14 May, dead body found on 15 May. This isn't rocket science.

What exactly do you propose the UK government to do? You do know that when one gets on a plane and flies to a foreign country one is subject to the laws and social/cultural mores of that country. If something bad befalls the traveler, there is little of practical benefit the home country can do.

This is especially true if one gets mixed-up with the wrong crowd overseas.
