When cancelling your work permit, when does the day 1 start of the 7 days

Hello,

I have a flight booked for the early morning of the 28 July (8am). I plan to have the final day of my work on the 21st July which will be the day the company cancels my work permit.

Will the 7 days start from the 21st or the 22nd.

The 7 days will start on the 22nd.

If you needed more time you could apply for a 60 day extension to visit your Thai wife (mentioned in your other topic).

For me day 1 was the same day we cancelled, so in my case it would have been 21st. I and my agent was a bit upset because it felt I got 6 days not 7. So we went back to verify. And the officer say "today is day one, day two tomorrow."
