July 5, 201610 yr I'm in the process of making arrangements to travel to Switzerland and have been advised that I must have health insurance? As I am over 80 years old I am under the impression that insurance for me is unavailable. Any advice please.
July 5, 201610 yr Yes believe that is true, you will need insurance, which you will get but your premiums will be high
July 5, 201610 yr 1. I'm guessing you mean just for the travel period. Lots of such policies available on line: AXA, Ace, Allianz and more and some have a choice of cover. 2. I recall an acquaintance just over 80 called one of the above companies and asked if they could set up a limited cover, but of a course a higher premium and they did. Sorry I don't recall which company.
