At the moment I have TOT Fiber2U 35Mps/5Mps @ 990 Thb p.m.

on the bill envelope that came yesterday they are offering 30Mps/15 Mps

for 750 Thb p.m.that's also Fiber 2U.what would the difference mean apart

from cost.I just surf and stream Tv.

You probably wouldn't notice any difference at all in your surfing and streaming, general browsing, emailing, etc.

However if you "upload" a lot, then the 15Mb upload speed of the one plan would be much faster/much more noticeable than the 5Mb plan.

Based on only the info provided in your post, I would go with the 30/15 plan due to lower cost and 3 times faster upload speed.

Competition between 3BB, TOT, and AIS for "fiber" plans appears to be getting very healthy resulting in rapidly changing plans in terms of speed and cost.

Properly designed websites are in the single MByte size.

TV streams are in the range of 2 to 5 MBit/s or so.

Full HD (1080p) streams are in the 5 (to 10?) MBit;/s range.

For your purpose you won't notice a difference.

The higher upload rate makes sense in the time of cloud storage (like many companies are introducing e.g. oneDrive with W10).

Of course other upload applications are thinkable (uploading high quality videos and picture galleries etc.).

I should have added that I did a similar change recently (ToT fibre) and have a couple of family members on the WiFi.

Still no problem watching high quality TV (720p), downloading/watching youtube videos in high quality.

Usual surfing, news, this and other forums, FB etc. pp. is no problem anyway.
