CDC urges end to distribution of fake charter

BANGKOK, 15 July 2016 (NNT) - The Constitution Drafting Commission has called for an immediate end to the distribution of a misleading fake charter.

CDC Chairman Meechai Ruchuphan said that the deliberate distribution of imitations of the draft Constitution containing distorted information to various households in the Northern region, requires the attention of all related agencies to monitor the development of the situation, as the charter drafting team has limited manpower.

Mr. Meechai added that the attempt to locate the origins of the fake charter is not aimed so much at punishing those involved but rather at preventing false information from reaching the hands of the people, who could be misled by it.

The CDC Chairman also urged those responsible for the distribution of the fake documents to cease their illegal activities, while noting that if it is politicians who are behind the campaign to mislead voters, it would only show that Thai politics remain underdeveloped and can still pose a threat to the country in the future.

Which fake charter are they talking about?

The fake charter the illegal government is distributing or the fake charter that's being distributed by the people without a voice?

And you probably wont receive a copy of the real one until after the referendum by which time the fake one will be determined as the real one and it was all just a misunderstanding.

It is strange that the illegal government refuse to show any evidence of this so called fake charter. Has any member of the public actually seen it, read it? It appears that the only people who have seen the so called fake charter are some government cronies. One would suspect that the government are yet again trying to divert attention away from the completely mishandled referendum by blaming an outside party.
