Personal driver

Featured Replies

Hello, not sure if this is posted in the right forum.

I'm curious about hiring Personal drivers. I don't have my own car in Thailand. I have 2 dogs I want to be able to take places without having to bargain them into a taxi or walk extremely far.

And I would like to go grocery shopping more than two bags at a time.

So my question is, how would I go about hiring a part time or full time driver. Has anyone else done this and have any advice? I plan to do 5 or six days a week, afternoon to evening timeframe.

What does a driver do when they aren't driving me around?

What are all of the costs besides salary (which I've heard 8k-10k is decent?).

I apologize for all of the questions I just don't know where to start.

Thank you.

Driver with car.

about 10 to 15 k p/m for the driver and then running the car...fuel etc.

You can negotiate a price depending on what he can do/earn in time off - but this can't impinge on your access to transport.

Have you thought of afternoons or mornings only?

The pmain problem you will face is reliability.

I can be interested if the money are good :)

I'm professional (certified) dog trainer and I drive Toyota Hilux Vigo.

We should agree working time frame or I can be available on call (again depends of money) :D

Fuel and car maintenance should be covered as well.
