Photo: Kritsada MueanhawongKRABI: -- A Chinese tourist is recovering in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) at Krabi Hospital after nearly drowning while snorkelling near Koh Hong yesterday morning.“At the scene, we found Chinese national Guobiao Guangdong, 26, in a very serious condition. July 26, 20169 yr Since half cannot even swim and most if not all have never snorkeled I am surprised that this doesn't happen more often. As for training from the (un)qualified guide, good luck!

July 27, 20169 yr With the quantities now snorkeling you are always going to have the odd mishap of someone panicking after taking a mouth full of water & swallowing I think as I write this he will be back on his feet
