Coca-Cola producer denies it asked for price increase

BANGKOK: -- Thai Namthip Company, the producer of Coca-Cola soft drinks, categorically denied a widely-circulated report in the social media that the company as well as the other soft drink bottlers have notified retailers of price adjustment by two baht for a can or bottle of soft drinks.

PHUKET: -- Governor Chamroen Tipayapongtada is to lead a final inspection of the repaired pillars in the underground section of the Jungceylon in Patong on Thursday (July 28) ahead of the shopping mall gaining approval to re-open the areas that have been closed off for more than a month.

Three Thai activists charged with criminal defamation

BANGKOK (AP) — Three Thai human rights activists have been charged with criminal defamation over a report that detailed alleged systematic torture inside military enclosures in the country's southern provinces. All three denied the charges and were freed Wednesday without having to post bail.

Prosecutors abandon case against police in Gray's death

Online Forex fraud could have swindled 10,000 people out of a billion baht

BANGKOK: -- A group of complainants have visited the Crime Suppression Division's computer crimes section to say that they have been swindled on Forex markets. The complainants represented thirty people but this is just the tip of a massive iceberg.
