‘World is at war’, Pope on recent attacks

Featured Replies

Speaking to reporters he clarified it was ‘not a war of religions’ but rather one of domination of peoples and economic interests.

This pope is an utter fool. He sounds like Karl Marx, not a religious leader.

Thanks for clarifying what the Russian Putinist folks think.

I think this Pope has way better understanding about the world, than many other before him had.

No shit Sherlock !

IMO, it is not that clear. The pope speaks in a manner that says the exact same thing to two very different populations. But what we do know about the pope and his militant, socialist, Jesuit mentality of liberation theology; this suggests very clearly that while the pope believes what he says, [you] are the ones infringing on interests, on access to wealth, exploiting natural resources, and dominating others. His statement, when considered in the context of his life and worldview, are talking about the attackers favorably, not [you]!

"Not a war of religion. There is a war of interests. There is a war for money. There is a war for natural resources. There is a war for domination of peoples. This is the war,” he said.

Yes, the pope clearly means what he says, and Poland knows this. Thus, his recent not-welcome there.

Why they mix terrorism with religion is beyond me.

Because they think it works. Duh. ;)

This pope is from Argentina. Down there talking up "people's revolution" is still fashionable, after all Che Guevera was from there. The middle class sits in cafes discussing pro-Marxist things while the poor who walk past could buy a meal for the price of their coffee. Even mutton heads like Maradona are fountains of leftist wisdom.

Sometimes it makes for good entertainment, like a guy standing on line at McDonald's wearing a "F(word) America" t-shirt.
