The Phuket Lobster Festival 2016 Will run the entire month of August.

PHUKET: -- Lobster lover gets ready, the Phuket Lobster Festival is coming this August with a total of 35 restaurants across the island offering you a signature menu at a special rate.

Phuket Governor Chamroen Tipyapongtada held a press conference on Tuesday (July 26) at TuKapKhao Restaurant on Phang Nga Rd to announce the Phuket Lobster Festivals 2016 which is scheduled to run from August from 1-31.

TAT Phuket office director, Anoma Vongyai; and Managing Director of Pracharat Raksamackee Co Ltd, Mr Veerachai Pranveerapaiboon were among those in attendance at the press conference.

Governor Chamroen explained, “More than 30 restaurants, including one in hotel, will be participating in this campaign to promote Phuket lobster, with each restaurant creating a signature menu using Phuket lobster as its main ingredient.

Good opportunity to get rid of old stock from the bottom of the freezer. A full month of promoting lobster should do the job.

Maybe rebrand it as an OTOP lobster and sell it for 1500 baht per 100g, with a complementary pineapple garnish.
