I came to Thailand this time without any visa and just got the 30 day stamp at the airport. Those 30 days are soon coming to an end though, and I was wondering if I could extend it with another 30 days by just going to the immigration office in Pattaya or Bangkok? I have done this about a year ago but at that time I had a 60 day tourist visa, so I'm not sure if I can extend my stay like this if I just got the stamp that I got in the airport in my passport? You can extend your 30 day visa exempt entry (it is not tourist visa) for 30 days at an immigration office for a fee of 1900 baht.

You can do it at any immigration office if you have a local address to put on the application form.

If you extend in Pattaya you will need to provide proof of where you are staying.
