Does Oil Go Bad?

Featured Replies

If the Oil was sealed tightly closed it should be fine. Oxidation can cause a break down in Oil over a time to. But this is clearly not the case with you.

Interesting to note that they have found Olive Oil in Sealed Vats going back thousands of years which they claim is still good. Mind you I would have to be on a hard night of heavy drinking and some serious money on the table before I would put that in my salad. But what the hell!

Tell us about black oil in a sealed container...?

We used a black oil in some of our race car gearboxes, it had a graphite additive to reduce friction.

I prefer the Genuine Australian Golden Neck Oil. These Upgrade  Chaps need a few gallons to liven themselves up.Locked topics still shown, Vias Apps clucked up totaly and it runs slower than a Fortuna.

Molyslip..:)

It was tried in motor oils in the US but the oil filters would pull it out almost immediately due to its large micron size.

Do you mean goanna oil, or are you being cryptic? Don't understand the reference.
