PHUKET: -- The body of a Myanmar national reported missing after being swept away by waves when fishing on rocks in Kalim on Tuesday (Aug 16) was found close to the area where he disappeared yesterday morning (Aug 17).

 

Patong Lifeguard Supervisor, Mr Somprasong Seangchart, told The Phuket Newsyesterday “We were alerted at 5:30pm on Tuesday that one of three men fishing near the Paradise Viewpoint Restaurant, opposite Soi Phabaramei 9 in Kalim had gone missing after he fell into the sea when hit by a big wave.

Poor fella, drowning would be a terrible way to go. 

 

Doesn't take much to change the course of the day.  A mouthful of water down the wrong pipe.  A seemingly benign fall, just a few feet, hit your head just right, and it's lights out.  

 

The intelligent design guy in the sky ought to come up with a prototype better suited to this planet.
