Surat Thani provincial police have just found out that there were four men suspected to be responsible for bomb and arson attacks in the province last week.

Pol Maj-Gen Apichart Kunsrirote, commander of Surat Thani provincial police, said Thursday that he would ask for approval of his boss to seek arrest warrants from the 45th army circle military court for the four suspects after investigators had meticulously examined CCTV system and managed to pin the four suspects.

He said the four suspects boarded a bus from Kaset 2 market near the central masjid for travel to a highway police kiosk on highway No 41 in order to catch an inter-provincial bus to Chumporn province.

The bus driver told the police that the four men did not speak Thai among them.

They "meticulously examined CCTV system and managed to pin the four suspects". Wow!

Why has it taken so long like six days to look at the CCTV or has the whiff of a reward suddenly concentrated their minds.

I often board a Bangkok No. 71 transit bus and I can't speak Thai so does that make me a suspect. Tossers!

The plod on the left of the photo is asleep and appears tired from the excitement. His mate next to him on the right should give him a nudge and wake him up.  Not a good look.

He is looking down because he is embarrassed to face the camera with the obvious false announcement being made.

"Just found out that there were four men suspected..."

So they havent found out anything. They either suspect 4 were involved or they know 4 were involved.

I suspect he was told to announce 4 were involved and as soon as they find suitable scapegoats, preferably red, they will be paraded as the offenders, sentenced in a military court using fabricated evidence and the real bombers will be laughing their heads off at the incompetence of those trusted to investigate.

In order to save you time reading similar posts over the forthcoming days.

"Lots of different policemen in lots of different places say lots of people in lots of different places have done lots of different bad things with bombs and lots of different bad things."

"However we are not able to give further details at the moment, as we have no idea what is going on."

:clap2: In a nutshell bonnie lad   !

Despite you trying to help out though we know that,   for a time at least,   there will be almost daily comments from BIB and govt officialdom trying to pretend they're on top of things plus the fact this is not,   I say again,   not terrorism.

Erawan Shrine has all but faded from view and a couple of days ago I wouldn't have known it was the first anniversary if the BBC hadn't done a piece on it.
