visa stamp transfer to new passsport

Featured Replies

Hi,

I will be heading to Chaeng Wattana on Monday to transfer my extension of stay stamp to my new passport. I would appreciate any help on my following questions.

-Do i apply for the stamp transfer at the same building as the 90 day reporting etc location? I read in another thread that someone mentioned it was at a different location.

-Can the officer do my my stamp transfer and my 90 day reporting at the same time/desk, or do I need to get another queue ticket?

- I have the  letter from my embassy requesting the transfer of visa stamp from old to new passport. Can anyone please tell me what other documents and photocopies i need.

Thanks in advance.

Ii is done at the same location as everything else. There is only one building at CW immigration.

You will have to get a  queue ticket for the stamp transfer and then another one for the 90 day report.

You will need a copy of both passport photo pages and copies of every page of the old passport that has any stamp or sticker for Thailand. Copy of TM6 departure card.

You can download and complete this form but they may give a different one to complete. http://www.immigration.go.th/nov2004/download/pdf/transferstamp.pdf

Hi ubonjoe.

I seem to have lost my 90 day online report that you print out and keep in your passport.

Do you think this will be an issue? I'm sure they'll have my details on computer.

Thanks

It should not be a problem.

But you should be able to back to the online reporting site and print it again by going to the check status page.
