Facebook Really Nasty People

Featured Replies

I joined facebook a few months ago and everything was fine for about a month. Then they asked me for my phone number which I sent them. Then when I had collected a few friends my posts started to get taken down. I posted some research about facebook and it's malpractices and satirical posts about their hypocrisy and obsession with nudity.

A few days ago I got banned again for no reason and they requested my official I.D because they thought I was a fake person.

I sent them my driving licence and then they sent me another  email saying I had been permanently banned for selling items on facebook. I have attached both emails one requesting my I.D and the last one accusing me of things I have never done or heard of I suffer from MS and facebook was the only thing that helped me  have friends. I would love to hear from anybody who has had similar experience as the web is full of cases like this one.

I could not agree with you more Anna, they are so incompetent and useless.:bah:

The OP is one of those posts that every IT security warning in the world says "don't click on the links"

In fact, even mousing over them could give your computer diseases you can't shake.

OP…are you nuts?

Giving FB (or someone who pretends to be them) your phone no and drivers license….FB is not authorised to ask you for these….you have been the target of a phishing scam…..google identity theft.

You sound like a millennial …. please don't go through life thinking the internet is some sort of toy.

Didja click on the links in the OP?

If so, have the Russkies emailed their demands to get your data back?  (Or maybe it takes a while to encrypt your entire hard drive and you'll hear from them later)

Or is it really a genuine bash on Facebook on a first post?

Open a new account. Different IP, fake name. Don't give them your phone # unless it's a from cheap throw away pre-pay.

Definitely don't give out any personal info.

Usually the only person dumb enough to do this would be anna nicole smith…but seeing as she's no longer with us…I have to wonder if she's back.

Not related to Thailand, not related to Bangkok. Excellent first post on TV looking forward to many more from you.
