I will be on school holiday and want to travel when it is time for the first 3-month renewal of my ED visa (first ED visa and it began 2.5 months ago, says Sep 6 on visa) Can I do the extend in Issan on holiday or am I required to go to Bangkok? You can apply for a 90 day extension of stay based upon attending a school at the local immigration office where you are living. You need to apply for the extension before starting your trip. What is shown on your visa would be the expiration date. You need to look at the admitted until date on your entry stamp immigration did when you entered the country.
