PHUKET:-- Police are on the lookout for two men who are alleged to have assaulted a man leaving him unconscious in Srisoonthorn last night (Aug 23).

 

Lt Yothin Chanapai of the Thalang Police received a call at 9:30pm yesterday where it said that an unidentified man was lying seriously injured and unconscious on the Baan Khao Lan-Kwan Tatan road. It was reported that the man had been assaulted by two men on motorbike.

 

Police arrived with Kusoldhram rescue workers at the road located about three kilometres from the Khao Lan intersection, Moo 2, Srisoonthorn to find the unconscious man lying face up on the road with a head injury.

 

Lt Yothin said, “The man had a large laceration on his head, and near by we discovered a 3 inche knife. Not far from the injured man was a Honda motorbike lying on the side of the road.
