Re-entry permit cancelled after having new extension under consideration?

Featured Replies

Dear all competent

I thought it might be better to ask here rather than at CM immigration - I fear their answer would be a no, just to be sure no revenue would be lost.

Situation:

Having (had) a non immigrant B permission to stay until 23rd August with a multiple re-entry permit until the same day.

Did apply for new extension on the 10th of August and got an "under consideration" stamp until the 22nd of September with a red stamp underneath saying " contact immigration before leaving the country".

Here is my question: Is my re-entry valid until the 23rd of August as stamped in, or is it now invalid because of under consideration stamp?

In case of being still valid, I could do a short trip to Mae Sai without having to be troubled with an extra single re-entry.

thanks in advance

You will need to get a single re-entry permit for the under consideration period that will be valid up to the report date on the stamp.

now we have the 26th of August, so it is expired anyway.
