August 29, 20169 yr Hi I have a 12 month non immigrant b visa multiple entry where I have to leave Thailand every 90 days and it was obtained in Penang, and I have a work permit. I quit my job today so need to know if my visa will remain valid or i need to leave. I have seen conflicting posts about extensions of stay etc. All help appreciated. August 29, 20169 yr Your multiple entry visa will remain valid. Only an extension of stay obtained at immigration ends when your job ends.

They can't. It's because they don't know the difference between an 'Extension' and a 'Visa'. Only immigration can cancel it, but there is no reason why they should. When you finish work cancel the work permit and keep your passport in your pocket no matter who asks for it at work.
