Like Thai food ...sometimes the social environment you can be subjected to here in Thailand  is sweet and sometimes sour and often spicy.

Actually I have lived there for years.  Soi 6, oddly enough, is situated between Soi 5 and Soi 7.   Imagine that!

I lived in VT 7 for two years.

You are already on Jomtien Beach Rd, no need to detour anywhere, old chap.

Ahhh, that's because everyone thought he was referring to Soi 6 in Pattaya, which would be worth detouring for, unless you are on Jomtien Beach.

I used to wander down sois just in case there was "heaven on earth" never found it but no harm looking

LOL. Many was the night I spent barhopping from Naklua to Walking St in search of "the one", but sad to say I never found her.

I don't know what's it like there after midnight , but when I exercise I only see normal people around , from soi 10 to the police station / 7 eleven. But try to define normal in Thailand .
