PHETCHABUN: -- Phetchabun governor Mr Bundit Thaveetivarak said today that he and the chief of the Forestry Resources Management Office 4 were threatened with life if they didn't stop the demolition of resorts in Phu Tab Berk mountain.

PHUKET: -- Direct flights and marine and medical tourism were the main topics of discussion when representatives from the southernmost Chinese province, and Phuket’s Sister City, Hainan, met with the Phuket Governor at Provincial Hall yesterday (Aug 31).

Bangkok drivers wasting 97 million baht daily on gas burned while stuck in traffic

BANGKOK: -- Traffic in Bangkok is a total nightmare, but it was still surprising to find out that traffic jams in Bangkok waste about THB97 million worth of fuel a day on average. That’s THB35 billion a year, according to the chairman of a National Reform Steering Assembly sub-panel.
