Ruptured liver led to death of land-deed suspect

Have you ever heard about people that died due to liver damage after receiving CPR except this case ? The autopsy can also determine if the liver got damaged before or after death. If it was damage before death there would be a lot of blood in and around the liver if it was damaged after death there would be no or little bleeding. So if he was hit or kicked before death there will be signs of bleeding if it was due to CPR there will be no or little bleeding. Elementary dear Watson.

You don't die from a ruptured liver, you die from the internal bleeding it causes.

Has it occurred to any of the many conspiracy theorists that if they wanted to kill the man there are plenty of ways to do it with far less indications of violence?

It's obvious what happened. He was walking carelessly around his cell when he was hit by a car which ruptured his liver. The pain was so bad he decided to hang himself. Case closed.

Smart family...

I would be careful what you post regarding this article with the new Thai Internet laws!

Most countries now have very strick, new, comprehensive, Internet content laws.

You don't want red flag tags when applying for a visa extension or worse! :coffee1:

Horribly obvious what  is going on here. One can only feel for the family who are clearly too scared to other than accept the official version of events.

I wouldn't worry too much about the family and their feelings. They've very likely enjoyed the benefits of this guy's corruption leading to the destruction of the environment down here for many years now. Wat, cremation, BIG pay day.

So, we can safely assume that they now know where he hid the loot.

No but your post will prompt many to consider there is ABSOLUTELY NOTHING those who are propagandists for Thailand's current government will not stoop to defend.

And the first article with comments from the dsi said, now that he is dead there is no need to investigate illegal land transactions in his area , the case will close.

The first question in an investigation.

What is the motive? ??

What has this to do with the current government? Given the medical evidence provided in the link post #21 where liver damage occurred during CPR in a hospital, is pointing out the lack of justification for leaps into fantasy unwarranted?

Or are you just taking another off topic cheap shot at another poster while offering to add  ABSOLUTELY NOTHING to the discussion, as usual?

With a ruptured liver the guy would hardly be able to sign his winning lottery ticket.

What was the famous song line again: "Oh, I hang high with a little help from my friends?"

""We only found traces on the detention room door that the suspect used his socks to hang himself on the door hinge," Thawatchai said."

Look at the picture of the back of the cell door, one could not attach anything to that kind of hinge, especially not a sock.

Forum  members will look at your disgusting post and draw their own conclusions.

Odd. I didn't know that hanging yourself by your socks could damage your liver and cause internal bleeding.

Live and learn I suppose... those nice policemen know about that sort of thing.

Cremation of land-deed suspect indefinitely postponed

The Nation

BANGKOK: -- A brother of a suspect in an illegal land-deed registration case said the cremation of the suspect’s body will be indefinitely postponed pending autopsy’s result.

Chainarong Anukul, a younger brother of Tawatchai Anukul, said Thawatchai's body will be kept until an autopsy result was offcially issue by the Forensic Medicine Institute of the Police Hospital.

Chainarong said he suspected irregularities in the death of Thawatchai who allegedly hanged himself with a sock inside a detention at the Department of Special Investigation.

A preliminary checking found that Tawatchai had ruptured liver that appeared to be caused by a blunt object.

Chainarong said the Forensic Medicine Institute would take about 45 days before issuing an official autopsy result.

Well they couldn't  wait for blood poisoning it would take far to long and he may start talking. Besides the police would lose face using the army's modus operandi.

Yes like I said if he was hit or kicked there will be a lot of bleeding in the area of his rapturesd liver. Thats why it should be easy to know if he was killed or commited suicide, without having to go into conspiracy theories. But you should acknowledge that even if it was clear that prisoners was tortured it didnt deter police from using violence in the past as they know they are above the law. Remember the guy that was involved in a certain park and suddenly died of a  medical condition he didnt suffer from a couple of days before. There are so many cases of official brutality in the country that it makes it clear that there is no rule of law.

...sorry but a load of crock it sounds like.....

....when there is a death....just look at those that have 'motive'......

...overlooking the obvious.....

...wow....

Ok Shirlock calm down. The stuff I typed was in regard to the unnamed Dr Somchi that said the liver is not near the heart. Nothing else.

Do carry on telling us all what you know.

Socks and Thai men.  An interesting combination.  Remember that weirdo sniffing a sock in public.  Imagine such people have power!!!! Freaky... Luckily Thailand is in good sane innocent hands.  555

"...the Forensic Medicine Institute would take about 45 days before issuing an official autopsy result...".

Seems like a long, long time to produce a result. They must be either very, very thorough, or incredibly slow.

If the latter, one hopes it's not because of a deliberate attempt (by DSI) to pervert the course of justice.

Should just employ the BIB experts, 5 minutes to ascertain suicide.  Case closed -  what's for lunch.

ruptured livers bleed profusely so unless there is a rapid and successful intervention to control it. seems you cannot separate one from the other.

if a person jumps from the 20th floor it is not the fall that kills him?? but the interaction with concrete??

Well you just did. Or did you not say that " rapid and successful intervention" to control bleeding can prevent death?

he may have been strangled to silence him then they did cpr to acting out attempted rescue.  misplaced and or chest compressions too deep or forcefully could rupture a liver.  its in the medical literature
