They prefer full sun-but anywhere will do-there very adaptable

There fast and easy to grow-as you can tell by the number of them growing wild

This tree is also known as Kerson fruit It also has many local names.Botanically it is Muntingia calabura.

We have a few growing now. Recently it was was found to have health benefits.I have never seen the fruit for sale at any markets,I suspect because the trees are everywhere and the fruit does keep long.Our neighbours have many and use them for shade as the spreading branches lay almost horizontal.They are fast growing,
