I do recommend you take one of the cheaper and simple on line courses at home before going to Thailand and taking an in person with classroom participation course.  It is cheap and easy and will only help.  You will probably be surprised about how much of the technical parts of the language you have forgotten, even though you may speak and write exceptionally well.

 you just need experience in teaching. no need for CELTA or TEFL as you will get your degree soon. why don't you come for holiday first.

It's something very hard to substantiate or confirm. Let's face it, that is a problem for our hosts so not even worth worrying about.

     Why not buying a "real lifetime experience degree?"

 

    Let's see: 10 year hamburger flipping at Mc = 5 years of teaching experience.

         

       Reading TVF for 10 years should give you a Master's in being brave.
