Airsoft spares

Featured Replies

The gas cartridge on my BB air pistol has a leak, looks like the case is cracked. Does anyone have a recommendation for a Pattaya area shop that stocks airsofts and more importantly, has spare parts?

Thanks,

NL

There are 4 places I've noticed selling airsoft guns, but I can't confirm what spares they stock... One is at the north end of 3rd Rd, a couple hundred metres south of the driving range on the same side of the street - I'd probably try this place first. Another is the place on Sukhumvit south of Na Jomtien on the east side of the road with an old airplane and jeep parked outside. There's also one on the ground floor of Big C North, kind of an outdoor survival shop. And there's a place on Soi Siam Country Club - coming from Sukhumvit it's not far over the railway line on the right hand side, opposite a pet shop called Snoop Fish.

Maybe you could use Google street view to try to get telephone numbers if you'd rather not go driving round. I think you'll need a Thai speaker to assist though.

Have you taken the gun apart? Or filled it with gas and put it into a sink full of water to check exactly where the leak is coming from? Mine had a leak and after submerging it in water I found it was coming from where the hose joined the gas cylinder and I was able to repair it with some 2-part epoxy.

I went to the one on Third road (where the pistol was purchased) and they had the replacement in stock. Great selection of stuff in there for campers and the like. Thanks for the other 3 locations though; handy to know.

Definitely leaking somewhere inside the clip/reservoir. Fill with gas, drop in a bowl of water and the bubbles come from inside the case whereas the refill and fire seals remain air tight (bubble free). I think it was dropped but now I have a good one, I can try and disassemble the leaky one and see if epoxy will do the job.

On the recommendation of a friend, I got a WE-Tech G-26 which is a 15-round Glock lookalike. Judging on this one-off trip to the Third Road camping store, getting parts isn't an issue. I may get the G-26 Advance next that has the longer, compensator barrel and an extended, 24-round clip.
