Questions, please help with answeres

If a man married to a Thailand wished to import product that could be sold in Thailand

1) if the lady was to import and sell the product would she need to inform government agency to set up business ?

2) If the man ran the business from the company that owns his house, but does not work at all for the company, will he be able to draw dividens (profits each year)

3) Will he need to get a work permit ?

4) Will he need a work visa B (ithink)

5) Will he need both of 3 and 4 ?

6) Is there any way this could be done so the wife works for the company and gets a wage but the man does not get any visa or work permit (as he has a retirement visa and doesn’t need to get a work permit to stay)

Thank you for any help :o

Good luck fella, especially if you really are married to Thailand.

1) If you want to import products, the first government agency you will be in contact with is Customs. Again, good luck. Depending on what you want to import you will have other departments to deal with.

2) How will you run the company if you dont work for it?

3,4 and 5) depends on 2.

6) Yes, there is. Your wife would be an employee of your land holding company, and you have nothiing to do with it. You as a shareholder of the company are able to take dividends of the profits.

Just do some more research and contact a good lawyer.
